Scholastic, a multinational company known for publishing, selling, and distributing books and educational materials for schools, teachers, parents, and children, was in the process of implementing an MDM project when it realized it had a problem. The project, being led by internal IT staff, was generating multiple, sometimes conflicting, business requirements – many of which were not being met.
Scholastic enlisted the help of Amplifi to provide project management and Product Information Management (PIM) expertise to support a large-scale, multidomain, Master Data Management (MDM) that had stalled due to lack of consistent business requirements being met. Amplifi provided design advice and a program management strategy to accelerate delivery capability and satisfy all business stakeholders.
