Efforts to enrich product data often took place too far downstream, primarily within eCommerce and merchandising teams, resulting in inconsistencies and delays in product launches. Standardized processes were missing, and siloed tools created friction between global teams.
A key challenge was the coordination of a global rollout of the Salsify platform, which included integrating with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) while managing change across diverse teams in North America, Europe, and Asia. Solution: Centralizing data and streamlining workflows
Amplifi implemented Salsify as a centralized Product Information Management (PIM) solution, designed to act as a single source of truth for product data across all regions and languages. By moving enrichment processes out of their current commerce platform and away from spreadsheets, teams were empowered to manage data proactively, closer to the source.
Seasonal product workflows were built within Salsify to support structured enrichment, review, and syndication, ensuring each new seasonal line could be launched on time and with confidence. The solution enabled syndication partners to receive complete and consistent product feeds aligned with go-to-market plans.
Amplifi adopted a "land and expand" approach, beginning with a foundational PIM implementation. The first milestone was the successful onboarding of a specific season’s product data into the MVP solution. Following this, European and Asian teams were trained and integrated, expanding the system’s reach and business value. With a core team enabled and processes validated, Phase 2 began to expand capabilities - introducing enhanced digital asset management and preparing for additional syndication channels.
